Food Service Resume

The food service resume is not that difficult to write. It is similar to that of the other types of the resume. What varies is the approach of the writing the content. This occurs as the profession or the background is different. So, before making the resume for the food service job, first decide the type of the resume format. Then, accordingly frame the content of the resume. Here are the some of the guidelines while writing the food service resumes:
  • Start writing the resume with your personal details first. These personal details must your name, postal address, contact no and the email-id. Remember write this personal details carefully and accurately because through this only the recruiter will try to reach you.
  • Then, write the objective of the job. It must impress the reader. It must match your qualification and the experience details.
  • Then, write the experience details in the reverse chronological order starting with the existing one. The experience details must have all the information regarding the previous or the existing job, name of the company you are/were working with, responsibilities managed by you there, your job profile there.
  • Following this write the educational details in the reverse chronological order. This must include the academic details of your education along with the academic grades earned by you. If you have done some of the training course regarding the hotel management or catering, mention the same. That is the bonus for you . That wills surely add the weight to your resume.
  • Then, after this, write all the achievements. If you have been rewarded for your work mention the same. If you have some standard certifications mention the same. That will enhance the value of your resume.
  • If you have any accurate and proper references, mention the same.
This is the basic way to write the resume. The resume must be free from all sort of mistakes. Its presentation must be neat and tidy. Use of the keywords, paragraphs must be mad at the maximum.
